Outback Queensland

I wanted to take Stefanie (my flat mate from Cambodia) to see the REAL Queensland so we headed for the long drive to Longreach. A whole other side of Queensland. Stefanie was keen to photograph the Australian wildlife. As we drove through the sunrise we saw many kangaroos keeping Stefanie satisfied.

The Great Barrier Reef

We took a tour out to the Great Barrier Reef. The snorkeling was fab but Stefanie was disappointed that she couldn't dive.

Joe's Beach

We camped with whole way and found ourselves on Whitsunday Island. We were the only ones there and it was relaxing and beautiful. It felt like survivor. Check out the view from our tent!

Whitsundays here we come!

We picked up the car and headed for the 2 days drive north to Airlie Beach. It was a long drive!

On the road

Stephanie arrive and we made a quick trip down to the Gold Coast to go for a swim in the surf.
